Fed up with the breakneck pace and self-centered focus of modern society, Justin Lockwood takes the bold step of leaving it all behind in favor of the wild outdoors. Little does he know, there will be nothing for him to come back to. Led by an eccentric park ranger and his hybrid pet, Justin and the companions he meets along the way find themselves enmeshed in an ancient web of mystery and mythology, where the past and present collide at the end of this age of humanity. How It Came To Be, the first book in the series, serves as the prologue to the creation of The Vox Medio, humanity's blueprint for the new age. This has all happened before; it is now up to us to make sure it never happens again.

About the Author:
At the time of publication, John Jennings is 25 years old and living his life exactly the way he wants to. John recently left a secure and promising job in the business world to focus on writing. Despite no history of publication, he is a firm believer in following one's heart and doing the thing that feels right at any given time. The Vox Medio series is the result of just such an outlook. These days, John spends most of his free time furthering the saga of Justin Lockwood and the Age of Enlightenment. It is not known at this time whether or not he actually believes the world is going to end in the near future. It has been confirmed, however, that he does own a sword and he has been stockpiling survival gear for well over a year.
