About the Author:

Denise Clayton Bryant, a native of Columbus, Georgia, is a retired Language Arts, Multicultural Literature and Drama teacher. As a result of the impact she has had on the lives of many of her students, she has been honored in numerous editions of Who's Who Among America's High School Teachers throughout the years from 1995 to 2002. She is the mother of three sons, Tjai and and Darrell II, both now in college and Christopher, who is a junior in high school. Denise obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Education degree at Columbus State University. She is a graduate of Supernatural Ministries Training Institute (SMTI), Midland, Michigan, and she is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. A gifted writer, she is also a talented singer and musician, playing the piano and writing songs since the age of eight. In additition to Peace in the Midst of a Storm, Denise is the author of Opening the Door, a self-published work which contains her testimony about overcoming tragedy, and Teaching: The Great Commission, a minibook about the Christian responsibility to spread the Gospel message throughout the world. As a woman who truly loves the Lord, Denise is called to the ministry of spiritual healing and deliverance in the lives of others.
