DAVID SNYDER is founder and CEO of Snyder, Inc., a consulting firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and works nationwide on staff development, employment, and assessment initiatives for numerous corporations. Mr. Snyder specializes in competency-based team building, assessment, and selection across a wide spectrum of industries. He holds a master of liberal arts degree in psychology from Harvard University and is a partner with VantagePoint, Inc., a leading assessment firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. He is recognized as an expert in developing sophisticated recruiting, selection, and training models, and has served as a consultant to Headway Corporate Resources, a national staffing firm. Currently, he is concentrating on developing superior selection and training processes for the banking and financial services industries. His first book, How to Mind-Read Your Customers, was listed among the best books of the year by Sales and Marketing Management Magazine the year of its release (2001), and has since gone into translation.
