About the Author:

I am a New Orleans native and have been living in Atlanta since evacuating the city due to Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in August of 2005. I am married and have a wonderful daughter. I began writing poetry as a diary to chronicle the emotional roller coaster that is experienced throughout life in 1989 while attending Xavier University. I received a BS from Xavier with a concentration in Chemistry and recently received an MBA with a concentration in Business from the University of Phoenix. The Sacred Heart was completed in October of 2008.
