All Mine! is a book written for toddlers about taking ownership of their things, so they better understand how to take turns. Written with simple language and reflective of children's realities, the Terrific Toddlers series is based on understanding of the developmental level of young toddlers. Includes a "Note to Parents and Caregivers" written by the authors about supporting toddlers' needs for ownership.

Review:
"Authors Carol Zeavin, MSEd, Med, and Rhona Silverbush, JD, use groundbreaking research to craft age-appropriate stories that takes into account the language level and comprehension level of a toddler." --First Time Parent

"It sounds crazy, but I've actually learned a lot from the Terrific Toddlers series that Magination Press has been putting out this year. Each book is as instructive to small children as they are to adults, and nothing shows this off better than this book. Basically, it's about not sharing. You heard me. When a toddler goes over to a friend and starts grabbing their stuff, the adult instinct is to have the two share. But how is that fair to the kid who had the item first?...I've never seen anything that discussed supporting toddlers' needs for ownership before. Really interesting." --Betsy Bird, A Fuse 7 Production

"The repetition will be helpful for young readers and will remind parents of the need for patience when coping with young children." --Joyce's Mystery and Nonfiction Book Reviews with some Non-fiction too!

"
This is a great go-to series when children are dealing with scary feelings that they don't understand and have a difficult time communicating. Everything is a big deal." --Children's Books Heal

"I really like this Terrific Toddlers series and think I'll be putting a set in my library." --Mom Read It

She still wants the carrot.Ava, tell JoJo, You can have it when Im done, the teacher says.Ava says, When I done!Ideal for actual toddlers when parents are using the bestselling Busy Toddler's Guide to Actual Parenting: From Their First "no" to Their First Day of School (and Everything in Between) parenting book by Susie Allison, The Montessori Toddler: A Parent's Guide to Raising a Curious and Responsible Human Being by Simone Davies, illustrated by Hiyoko Imai, and Best practices in Toddler Discipline from 1 to 5 without tantrums: Effective Strategies for Developing and Helping your Child by Mary Simmons. Also includes a Note to Parents and Caregivers written by the authors about supporting toddlers need for ownership.Excerpt:Sharing is simply not a concept that a young toddler can grasp.yet. It may seem counterintuitive, but in fact, encouraging full ownership, as the teacher does for JoJo in All Mine!, can actually hasten the development of generosity, since allowing the toddler to fully be in this phase of development hastens her mastery of the lessons about self that it provides. It is not until at least age threewhen young children are developmentally ready to want acceptance from peers and have a firm understanding of the concept of selfthat they can begin to want to share. Toddlers need to feel ownership, so when Ava, Kai, and JoJo are playing with their toys at school, they arent ready to share and take turns.
