He is fascinated with history, biography, geography, science, music, movies, investments, and eighteenth century living. He attended Auburn University where he studied geology and business in preparation for a career in jewelry retailing. His skill at writing surfaced as he managed jewelry sales and wrote training materials for a Fortune 500 employer.
