Nietzsche's initial writings appeared in the journal Rheinisches Museum (Rhenish Museum). His first book, Die Geburt der Tragodie aus dem Geiste de Musik (The Birth of Tragedy from the Spirit of Music), was published in 1872. His other works include Also sprach Zarathustra (Thus Spoke Zarathustra, 4 parts published between 1883-1885), Jenseits von Gut und Bose (Beyond Good and Evil, 1886), Zur Genealogie de Moral (On the Genealogy of Morals, 1887), Der Antichrist (The Antichrist, 1888) and Die Gotzen-Dammerung (Twilight of the Idols, 1889) among others.
