About the Author:

Ed Kelly wrote this book to supplement a class he taught at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. He found that he spent 75% of his time counseling students on how to get a job on graduation and that it would be more advantageous to teach a course to 30 students at a time. Not being able to find a book that totally spelled out the strategy for employment, he wrote Your Move into the World of Work that lays out in simple steps the requirements necessary for finding that job that you, the job seeker, will be happy with. The author has 40 years of experience in training. He was an instructor navigator in the USAF for over 20 years and as a Director of Cooperative Education, Job Placement and Apprenticeship Training for the community college system. He has conducted state, regional, and national workshops on how to obtain employment. In retirement, he conducts a monthly workshop at Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida for those retirees that want to re-enter the workforce. He has a Masters Degree in Education, Guidance and Counseling from Campbell University.
