About the Author

Beverly was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She was the second of four children. Beverly attended A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. There she met and married Gerald Terrell who is a retired Elementary School Principal and a Vice President of Core Knowledge Foundation. She later received a degree in psychology from the University of Virginia.Beverly loves to entertain, much like her Grandmother. She indulges herself in drawing, designing clothes, crafts, writing poetry, culinary creations, designer dinners, gardening, and reading articles and books pertaining to history, mystery and criminal cases. She has been writing poetry since high school - writing on the paper inserts included in the pantyhose packages.Beverly is also the music director for Union Ridge Baptist Church in Charlottesville, Virginia where the couple resides. She is the founder of Dee's Designs, Inc. Dee's Designs incorporates her crafts, fashion designs, alterations, greeting cards, gifts and encourage and comfort services.
