You think you know the story about Goldilocks and the Three Bears who have an encounter with a wolf? Think again! Mr Wolf and the Three Bears contains all the same traditional characters but has quite a different slant. Mr Wolf is holding a party for everyone to celebrate Baby Bear's birthday. Grandma comes to help, and they prepare lovely eats for each party goer; they even consult the Internet for recipe ideas! The party is ready, and just as Baby Bear arrives, who should barge in but Goldilocks? Pandemonium ensues, but Grandma saves the day as she deals with Goldilocks. This up-to-date book is beautifully written, (and it contains wonderful recipes) and the illustrations are bright and amusing. About the Author:

Jan Fearnley is a star of the picture book world with nearly three quarters of a million books sold and numerous awards to her name. She is the author of the Mr Wolf stories (Mr Wolf’s Pancakes, Mr Wolf and the Turnip, Mr Wolf and the Three Bears) as well as Little Robin Red Vest, Arthur and the Meanies and The Baby Dragon-Tamer. Jan lives in South London with her husband Paul and her two cats, Rosie and Kyra.
