Willofigod; Eternal Life and Happiaej} is indeed confiantly attributed\ to the Spirit of Goal; that is, thofe only who have the Spirit Of 5305, and are guided by it, who obey the Will of God, and live in conformity to.his holy Laws, thall be partakers of Et malhappinefs:, And thus the Spirit of God is indeed neceffary to Qualify Men for, and to make them' capable of, the Happinej} pf Heaven. But if, to make good Men capable pf an Eternal Duration in order to that Happinei's, it be neceflary that the Spirit of God give them a new Principle of Subfijlence, or {hperadd a new Sub/lance to their Souls, (as your obfcure Exprefj fions concerning the Aceejion of an adfi'ititious Spirit. 8cc.
