While my first book was devised entirely to meet the amateur's long-felt want for the ABC of garden ing, with fortnightly advice for the untrained gardener, this second book will, I hope, supply the more ex perienced gardener with a comprehensive scheme for continuous bloom, as well as abbreviated plans in a late chapter for those who would specialize in spring and autumn displays. In addition there are some other garden suggestions which may, I trust, be help ful to those who have not as yet gone deeply into this interesting subject.
