Mr. Bereuter. The subcommittee will come to order. The sub committee meets today in open session to consider two pieces of legislation, H. Res. 345, a resolution expressing concerns about the deterioration of human rights in Cambodia and H. Con. Res. 148, a concurrent resolution reaffirming the commitment of the United States to military stability in the Taiwan Straits and to assist in the defense of Taiwan.
The first order of business then will be H. Res. 345 on Human Rights in Cambodia which the clerk will report.
