In ersterer Beziehung sehen wir, dass Hegel unauf hörlich die psychologischen Elemente berührt, welche dem Standpunkt des philosophischen Erkennens vorausgehen müssen: Empfinden, Anschauen, Vorstellen. Was er dar über sagt, ist wahr; weil er es aber sofort mit historischen Gestalten der Philosophie in Zusammenhang bringt, ver wischt sich die Schärfe der Bestimmungen. Sie verläuft sich in die Bemerkungen, die er uber die Meta hysik, den Empirismus, den Kriticismus, das unmittelbare }wissen bei Jacobi und A. Macht. Es entsteht eine Vermischung von systematischer Auseinandersetzung und von bistori scher Berichterstattung.

About the Author:
Karl Rosenkranz (1805 1879) was a German philosopher. He followed Kant and Herbart as professor of philosophy in Konigsberg, Germany. A lifelong defender of the philosophy of Hegel, he participated briefly in the post-1848 reform government in Berlin.
