About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book defies the dominant theories about the formation of life, arguing for a theory of development based in typical protoplasmic differences within the germ. The author takes an analytical approach, examining the fundamental processes that occur during development, and in doing so, challenges other more commonly held beliefs. By analyzing the development of various organisms, the author concludes that the typical protoplasmic differences within the germ are the primary influencers of development and that these differences instigate changes in mass correlations, leading to growth and division. This book will be of great value to biologists, zoologists, and anyone interested in the fundamental processes that shape life.
