L'etude de la charte originale, non seulement confirme l'opinion de Habler, mais encore elle nous explique les veritables raisons qui ont decide le gouvernement espagnol a accepter les services des Allemands. Le decret du 27 mars 1528, portant, comme tous les documents officiels de cette epoque, la signature Yo la Reina, de la regente, la reine Jeanne, rappelle que des revoltes graves ont eu lieu dans la province de Santa-Marla, de la part des naturels qui son bellicosos y flecheros, et ces troubles ont meme cause la mort du gouverneur Bastidas.
