New intrigues of the count'd Auvergne: means used by Henry to have him arrested: letters which he received and wrote to him: an account of his being seized: his tryal. The marchioness of Verneuil is likewise arrested: Rosny is employed to interrogate her: he can, neither by advice nor intreatics, persuade Henry to banish her from France Weakness of this prince for his mistress.
