Review:
"I think that the questions in the book are very appropriate. They may be on the "more difficult" side when you compare them to the actual exam, but it's better to be overly prepared than fail the exam. I honestly can't think of one thing that should be done to improve this book - it's already great."Michelle H. Cranney, Program Director, Health Sciences, Virginia College Online, Birmingham, Alabama
"I have recommended the Professional Review Guides to several educators over the past 20 years. I also highly recommended the Review Guides to students. It is the most comprehensive review guide available for HIM students. The other selling factor is the amount of information that is included concerning study strategies, resources, and review techniques. The appendices are also very helpful since they supply a guide for pharmacology, laboratory tests, and the most current coding guidelines." - Sheila Newberry, PhD, RHIT, HIM Program Director, St. Petersburg College
"Great overview and covers topics from reimbursement concepts to CPT coding. Reference points are great. Great review book for the new coder to seasoned coder." - Anne C Karl, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC, CCC, Adjunct Facult, Rasmussen College, Bloomington, MN
"I do recommend this book to colleagues for adoption in their coding certificate programs and to individuals studying for the CCS examination. The review book is well organized and describes the necessary content areas the learner needs to study. The general and specific questions provide what is expected on the examination."
"it is the best study tool available to prep for the CCS. When I took my CCS examination, this is my primary study method."
