Antonio Ruiz-Camacho ha trabajado como periodista en México, Europa y Estados Unidos. Ha sido becario Knight de periodismo en la Universidad de Stanford y becario Dobie Paisano en literatura por la Universidad de Texas. Tiene una licenciatura en comunicación por la Universidad Iberoamericana y una maestría en creación literaria por la Universidad de Texas en Austin. Sus relatos, ensayos y reportajes han sido publicados en The New York Times, Salon, Texas Monthly, Etiqueta Negra, Letras Libres, El Universal y Reforma, entre otras publicaciones. Desde 2004 vive en Austin, Texas.
