The European Union enters 2015 amid profound uncertainty as to its future direction. About the Author

Andrew Duff was a British Liberal MEP from 1999-2014, and one of Parliament's representatives in the Convention and the Lisbon intergovernmental conference. He led the team which wrote the proposed 'Fundamental Law of the European Union' in 2013. From 2008-2013 he was President of the Union of European Federalists.
