About the Author:

Sandy Baker writes, gardens, reads, crafts, travels, bikes, photographs, and hangs out with her husband and friends. She's been a Sonoma County CA Master Gardener since 2000 and uses her gardening knowledge to write her kid gardening books with a plot. She teaches through the Master Gardener program on subjects such as "Lawn Alternatives," "Drought Tolerant Gardening," "Habitat Gardening," "Basic Garden Design," "Container Gardening," "Basic Gourd and Wreath Art," and "Trash to Treasures Garden Art." She’s also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Bay Area Independent Publishers Assn., Redwood Writers, and Association of Publishers for Special Sales.
