Fernando Gil was born in Colombia, South America, in 1949. Since he was a young man he started writing stories and poetry. His literary production is vast and varied. He writes on fiction and nonfiction subjects. Fernando Gil has a global vision of the world, that could be found in his work, because he has had the opportunity to visit about thirty countries, and he has lived in three of them: Colombia, Germany and USA. Fernando Gil nació en Colombia, Sur América, en 1949. Desde su juventud se proyectó a la escritura de cuentos y poesía. Su producción literaria es vasta y variada, conteniendo temas de ficción y no ficción. Fernando Gil posée una visión global del mundo, que se refleja en su obra, ya que ha tenido la oportunidad de conocer alrededor de treinta paises y ha vivido en tres de ellos: Colombia, Alemania y USA.
