About the Author:
Robert Mercer-Nairne was brought up by his Scottish father and American mother in both Scotland and California. Mercer-Nairne is the author of three novels, The Letter Writer, Like No Other, and Warlord and two collections of poetry, Mercer-Nairne in Malta and On Fire. His next book, Notes on the Dynamics of Man, is due to be published in 2009. Robert Mercer-Nairne lives in Scotland and Malta with his wife and three children.
