About the Author:
Philip Nanton was born on the Caribbean island of St Vincent & the Grenadines. He lived for many years in England and has lived in Barbados since 2000. He has presented programmes for BBC radio, and his work (both prose and poetry) has appeared in regional journals and literary magazines. Island Voices from St Christopher & the Barracudas was first produced as a spoken-word CD. The illustrator, booops (aka Caroline Sardine), was born in St Vincent & the Grenadines where she still lives. She studied art in Barbados, Jamaica and England and has shown her work widely.
