This book stands out from the crowd. My lifestyle bible, it has helped me recover earlier with more confidence with the knowledge and reassurance that I am doing the right thing. I am a prolifc reader of self help books - this beats all others available on the market by miles. It is practical and accurate has help me enormously. --Cecila Nicholson Freelance Journalist
Professor Thomas lays out very clearly the difficulties and limitations of trying to seek the evidence within conventional trialsand is to be applauded. I congratulate him on these efforts to help patients to help themselves on their road to recovery. --Michael Williams Present of the Royal College of radiotherapists and Oncologists
