Despite the foreign sounding name Nathan was born and bred in the Midlands area of England, but having parents of a somewhat nomadic nature meant that the distinctive Midlands accent was lost among those of Lincolnshire, Wiltshire, London and Bedfordshire. It was in London that Nathan met his wife Roz. They have a son Anton James.
Nathan's Ferrari obsession started many years ago and found an outlet through slot car racing and building scale models. Over the years he has built up a collection of hundreds of books, magazine articles, memorabilia, photos and brochures about all manner of Ferraris.
Back in the early `80s Nathan established what was then the world's first and only exclusively Ferrari shop. Regrettably Nathan's Studio, like many businesses, was a victim of the `90s recession, but Nathan still pursues his Ferrari passion through collecting and writing.
He has written for;
`Cavallino' - the magazine of Ferrari history
`Ferrari' - the magazine of the Ferrari Owners Club UK
`Prancing Horse' - the magazine of the Ferrari Club of America (FCA) and others
He has also written 5 other Ferrari titles;
Ferrari Supercars
Haynes Superprofile: Ferrari Daytona
Haynes Superprofile: Ferrari Dino
Ferrari P Series Sports Racing Cars
Ferrari 512S/M Sports Racing Cars
