Laurence Demarco's idiosyncratic contemplations, philosophical wanderings, comic story-telling and sombre ruminations go out to over 3,000 people as part of the Social Entrepreneurs Network Scotland s weekly bulletin. In response to frequent demands from readers, they were finally brought together in this stunning collection.

Review:
"Laurence's experiences are refreshingly honest and original ... It is simply excellent and I would recommend it to anyone." Mel Young --New Consumer
About the Author:
Born in Edinburgh in 1940, Laurence left school aged 15 to work in the family fish and chip shop. As a self-employed entrepreneur, he launched eight different catering and leisure businesses, before voluntary involvement in various committees led to an interest in youth work. Years of work with youth gangs and 'school refusers' (and a degree in Youth and Community Work) followed. Laurence has wide experience of community development in Scottish housing estates, and a commitment to local empowerment and decision-making. In 1999 he co-founded Senscot (Social Entrepreneurs Network Scotland).
