From the age of 13 Katrina always dreamt of being a farmer's wife but God had other plans! This book follows her rollercoaster ride from teacher training college to farmer's wife and B&B proprietor but the story doesn't end there. Her story reminds us of God's faithfulness even when we keep him at arm's length. "Katrina has written a heart moving, yet very real story of her journey of faith. It is a tale which will delight, amuse and tear your heart strings as she describes the joys and pain of shared ministry with her pastor/farmer husband Tim. They are a lovable couple with whom we were delighted to share ministry with at The Garden Tomb and get to know them better.” Rosalind Meryon – Author of “A Garden in Jerusalem”. “Katrina has a wonderful talent for creating vivid descriptions of people she has known and who have influenced her. In this book she brings insights and understanding of people with depth and compassion, as well as sharing her own journey with an honesty that is sometimes raw in its vulnerability. Her stories and insights are deeply moving in places, hilarious in others, and the addition of her own poems add significantly to the emotional impact of the book. I loved reading it, especially the way she draws our attention to our wonderful God throughout. I think it will be really helpful for our young people (and older people) to read, as it's a great lesson in not dismissing ourselves from serving God.” Fiona Taylor - Professional musician, Worship Leader, author of "The Worshipping Musician".
