Review:
A gem of a book, this beautifully produced slim volume collects together a representative sample of his best work. His drawings are not just painstakingly meticulous, but conceived with a mature and artistic command of composition that belies his lack of formal training. They are crammed full of detail that reveals a deep familiarity with the whole of Carroll's work and keeps the reader coming back to discover more allusions and half-concealed references. --Alan White. Lewis Carroll Review Issue 30 July 2005
