Judith Mackay is a senior policy advisor to the World Health Organization and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and London. Her co-writers were Ahmedin Jemal, MD, Program Director of Cancer Occurrence at the American Cancer Society; Nancy C. Lee, MD, a consultant to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); and D. Maxwell Parkin, MD, an epidemiologist at the University of Oxford (UK)
