About the Author:
L.Duncan Hartgraves is an art teacher who has worked with elementary school children, who also happens to be an author, illustrator, hobby farmer, equestrian, and nature lover. She writes from her experience and insight as a teacher and illustrates with a bold, colorful style. This is her initial offering, but she is already working on her next title and has recently been hired as a middle school art teacher in the creative and performing arts curriculum school at the middle school level.
