About the Author

Philip K. Dick (1928-1982) was born in Chicago but lived in California for most of his life. He went to college at Berkeley for a year, ran a record store and had his own classical-music show on a local radio station. He published his first short story, 'Beyond Lies the Wub' in 1952. Among his many fine novels are The Man in the High Castle, Time Out of Joint, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. EX LIB book with just a few of the usual library markings including a library stamp on the bottom of the title page, last free end paper (LFEP) has been removed and the next to LFEP has a library discard stamp, bumps to top corners, tight page block, first edition with full numberline 10-1, other than the already stated library markings no other marks or writing. Unclipped dustjacket (priced at $16.95), the mylar jacket protector is taped to the boards but the dustjacket has not been glued down and the tape looks to be only on the mylar, not on the dustjacket itself. I have not removed the mylar protector but the dustjacket looks to be in very nice condition. This may be as nice an exllib as I have seen. Book shipped well packed in a box and USPS tracking number supplied upon shipment. Seller Inventory # 002887
