About the Author:

Moris Farhi was born in Ankara, Turkey. He studied humanities in Istanbul and drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. He has written film and television scripts and numerous novels, including Journey Through the Wilderness, also published by Saqi Books. Farhi is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and Chair of International PEN's Writers In Prison Commmittee. In 2001, he was awarded an MBE for 'Services to Literature'.
