Lucy’s friend the wolf, 2.15, has gone soft. He’s now the father of three little cubs and he’s become a vegetarian – not something normally associated with wolves, but he can’t bear the thought of animals being eaten.
The wolf then becomes concerned with acid rain and the destruction of forests and is determined to make a safe home for his family. A wolf with attitude indeed! Ann Jungman manages to deal with environmental and social issues in a way that all children will relate to, and enjoy.
