About the Author:
Michele Wallace has taught creative writing and Afro-American Literature at the universities of California, Oklahoma and Buffalo and is currently Professor of English and Women's Studies at the City College of New York. She has been a regular contributor to Zeta, the Village Voice and Art Forum.
