<P><B>H. Michael Dreher, PhD, RN,</B> is Associate Professor with Tenure and Chair, Doctoral Nursing Department, Drexel University, Philadelphia (appointed 2004). Dr. Dreher is a dynamic leader, innovator, and educator. He has led Drexel to the forefront of doctoral nursing education and spear-headed the Drexel DNP Conferences on DNP Education in Annapolis in 2007 and in Hilton Head Island, SC in 2009 (the 3rd conference is scheduled for spring 2011). He established the first mandatory doctoral study abroad program in nursing (UK/2007). His clinical nursing experience (1984 - 2000) has focused primarily on Adult Health/Coronary Care/Home Care of Cardiac Patients and completed a postdoc in sleep and respiratory neurobiology at the University of Pennsylvania (2001-2003). He has participated in the Harvard Macy Institute Program for Leading Innovation in Healthcare & Education (Harvard Business School/Medical School - 2007) and established the first MSN in Innovation (2007). Dr. Dreher has published >70 journal articles and has been PI or Co-PI on > 20 funded projects. His current research focus is in co-morbid insomnia in women with HIV infection and in expanding his Model of Practice Knowledge Development. Dr. Dreher conceived and has taught the NURS 716: <I>The Structure of Scientific Knowledge in Nursing</I> to Drexel doctor of nursing practice students for several years and is co-author on another forthcoming text from Springer (1/2011) on <I>Role Development for Doctoral Advanced Nursing Practice</I> with Dr. Mary Ellen Smith Glasgow.</P>||<p><b>Mary Ellen Smith Glasgow, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC,</b> is an Associate Professor with Tenure and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Nursing & Health Professions Programs, MSN Programs & Continuing Nursing Education at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow. She was also selected to attend the prestigious Bryn Mawr College and HERS Mid-America Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration, Dr. Glasgow teaches the DNP Role Practicum course (among other courses taught). In her role as Associate Dean she oversees 18 academic programs with greater than 2500 students. In addition, Dr. Glasgow developed Drexel's three undergraduate nursing programs and served on Drexel University's Doctor of Nursing Practice Planning Committee. She also oversees the Continuing Nursing Division which hosts three to four national conferences per year. Dr. Glasgow has published over 45 journal articles, has been PI or Co-PI on many funded projects, and has delivered over 100 national and international presentations. Dr. Glasgow is the Associate Editor for Oncology Nursing Forum and is an ANCC Board-Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health. She is a Trustee for the Princeton Health Care System in Princeton, New Jersey.</p
