Welsh, a professor of English at Salisbury University in Maryland, is the current editor of Literature/Film Quarterly. He lives in Salisbury, MD. Together they have written The Encyclopedia of Novels into Film, Shakespeare into Film, and The Encyclopedia of Stage Plays into Film, all for Facts On File/Checkmark Books.
