Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Text illustrations by Harold W. Irby; Dust Jacket illustration by Francis E. Sweet (illustrator). 1st Edition. Stated First Edition with Number Line to 1. A Wildlife Management Institute Book. Very nice, very clean, textured covers in excellent condition, bright gilt lettering on the spine, excellent cover edges, corners. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances of soiling. The only page imperfection: there are two small areas on the pages beginning with the rear end paper where there is an indent, the kind of thing that's caused by something pressing against the pages. One is just off the top corners and one is a little ways down just off the middle edge. Neither reaches the print or illustrations. It diminishes as the pages go from back to front. There are also four pages in the References section at the end of the book that have a tiny crease just under their top corners. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. The dust jacket is in very nice condition, very clean. It has very little wear, a tiny spot of rub-through at the rear top corner, a little crinkle at the top edge of the spine. I don't see any tears. The flaps are in very good condition, very clean, one tiny crease at each of the top edges. The jacket is NOT price-clipped ($44.95), not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are taken. Seller Inventory # 005149
