Philip Shenon es periodista de investigación para The New York Times, donde ha trabajado desde 1981. Fue el principal reportero en cubrir la investigación tras los acontecimientos del 11 de septiembre de 2001. Dicho trabajo arrojó su primer libro, La comisión.
