As you can see, the authors of Hot Barbecue really know what they're doing. Hot Barbecue makes a great gift for the people in your life who love to grill every summer - or the real fanatics who grill year-round, regardless of the weather. Does your neighborhood have an annual chili cook-off? Recipes from Hot Barbecue would make a perfect pairing for any outdoor event or family gathering. Also, rest assured that not every recipe in Hot Barbecue is hot, there are deliciously mild recipes included in the barbecue cookbook as well!

From the Author

Provides barbecue sauces from around the world
Hot Barbecue is one of five cookbooks in our "Hot" series. This is a teaching book on everything you ever need to know to become a barbecue master. By "hot" we mean "contemporary," "exciting," "new," "boldly flavored," and not necessarily "spicy." The book provides dozens of marinades, rubs, and slathers from around the world to add a new twist to your barbecue favorites. All the seasonings can be purchased at every supermarket. Every recipes provides directions for grilling, or cooking the dish in a smoker, or if the weather is bad, directions for cooking the dish in the oven. The recipes are based on years of teaching barbecue class across the country. And as with our other cookbooks, there are many beautiful full-colored food photographs taken by my wife Teri Sandison, with each barbecued food placed on dishes made by America's top glass and ceramic artists. These are easy-to-make and flavor intense recipes. We hope you have lots of fun making these recipes for family and friends. Best wishes - Hugh Carpenter
