Thanks to all the folks for your kind comments. By Force of Arms was my first book, written while I was working as a professional square-rig sailor. Not the most conducive atmosphere for writing! As regards the comments of the reader from Lake Oswego, Oregon, I must say, and I say this in all honesty, I beleive that he/she is commenting on another book, not mine. The description of the book's content simply does not fit with the story of Arms.
