A native of California and resident by turns of Ottawa, Amsterdam, Vancouver, and now Rio de Janeiro, Shawn Blore is an award–winning magazine writer and the best–selling author of Vancouver: Secrets of the City. In 2003, he took up the prestigious Canadian Journalism Fellowship at the University of Toronto’s Massey College. He’s also the author of Frommer’s Vancouver & Victoria and Frommer’s Brazil. Toronto native Hilary Davidson now calls New York City home, thanks to her persuasive Manhattan–born husband, Daniel. She is a contributing editor at Chatelaine magazine, and writes for Martha Stewart Weddings, Executive Traveler, Wedding Bells, Glow, Discover, and Pages.
