Dad's army is quite simply the most successful British TV sitcom of all time. Eighty episodes were made and are constantly repeated. About the Author
David Croft and Jimmy Perry are one of the great TV comedy writing partnerships. In addition to Dad's Army, they have written It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Hi-De-Hi, You Rang M'Lord and Oh Doctor Beeching. Richard Webber is one of Britain's foremost show business journalists. He contributes regularly to a whole host of newspapers and magazines from The Independent to The Mirror, Hello to Radio Times, My Weekly and Bella.
