About the Author:

Francois-Xavier Chevallier has 25 years experience in portfolio management. A graduate of HEC, the leading French business school and holder of an MBA from the University of Chicago, he worked in the French bond market and the US and Japanese equity markets, before being appointed Chief Investment Strategist of BNP Asset Management in 1990. He then became Head of Research of BNP Paribas Asset Management Paris/London. He is presently Head of Strategy with Paris based CIC Securities, the Credit Mutuel-CIC brokerage arm.
