Those who venture to the woods as passionate pursuers of the whitetail deer are a unique community of individuals. There is a mysterious and marvelous bond between these folks that can cause complete strangers to become immediate friends when both discover they share this interest. I know this to be true because, for example, I've been in airport gate areas waiting for a flight to board and I might see a fellow who carries an item or wears a peice of clothing (ususally camo) that indicates he might be on his way to or from a hunting trip.
