About the Author:

Edmund Acevedo is an associate professor at the University of Mississippi, where he teaches exercise testing and prescription and serves as director of the Applied Physiology Laboratory. Panteleimon Ekkekakis is an assistant professor of exercise and sport sciences at Iowa State University. His main research interest is exercise psychology.
