About the Author

John Mather has been the editor of the Yorkshire County Bird Report for the past 11 years. He is also the author of The Birds of Yorkshire, 1986 (Helm), Birds of the Harrogate District, 2000 and the first two editions of Where to Watch Birds in Yorkshire.
