The book, put together by a group of international experts and photographers under the editorship of a rainforest conservation group, shows the beauty of forests around the world and also contains the most state-of-the-art information about them. Text and photographs provide the framework for understanding this fragile ecosystem. Each theme is introduced with a short essay written by people such as David Bellamy, Robin Hanbury-Tenison, Julian Caldecott, Andrew Mitchell and Jonathan Kingdon. Royalties from the book are being donated to The Living Earth Foundation, for designated rainforest conservation projects.
