Baby Goz takes a walk around the farm. He meets the tadpole who will be a frog and the larve that will be a ladybird, and learns about the changes that happen to animals and plants as they grow. This is a lift-the-flap children's book, the fourth in the series.

Review:
"This is exactly right for a very young toddler... The illustrations are full of life and the flaps are easy for small fingers to lift. The book is smooth and easy to handle, and the simple text appears not only above the pictures, but also under each flap leading the reader on to the discovery of the next page. However there is more than just pictures and flaps to enjoy - children are introduced simply to the idea that the creatures develop - a larva becomes a ladybird, a caterpillar a butterfly. The cover includes a delightful border illustrating some of the insects which are in the story. Small children enjoyed discovering them here as well as on the pages that followed. A good buy." -- Books for Young Children
From the Author:
Goz learns he's not the only baby who will grow up.
Go on a nature walk with Baby Goz and lift the flaps to see how a tadpole becomes a frog, a caterpillar changes into a butterfly, a seed grows into a flower, a tiny acorn becomes a tall oak tree. Goz knows he will grow up to be a big, soft feathery goose, but what does a ladybird starts out as?
