About the Author:
Torquil MacLeod was born in Edinburgh and brought up in the north east, attending schools in both Durham and Perthshire. After a brief spell as a teacher and a life insurance salesman, he worked as a copywriter at various advertising agencies in Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle. Since 2000 he has been a freelancer and he divides his time between Cumbria, where he lives with wife Susan, and Newcastle. Meet Me in Malmo is MacLeod's debut novel and was inspired by his frequent visits to the city.
